The general target of the research was to analyze the connection between the family operation and the adaptive functioning of the child affected by the ASD, in accordance with the three levels of seriousness. It has specifically been investigated the relation between the features of Olson’s theory and the adaptive functioning of the child. Furthermore, it has been investigated between the possible differences between father and mother in the familiar functioning (father vs mother).
