The labour and social inclusion of people with the most difficult employability in the world of profit-making enterprises finds an opportunity to be experienced in the overcoming of the dichotomy between work and non-work, offered by the concept and practice of productive industriousness, developed above all by third sector organisations (associations, social cooperatives, foundations). The authors report the main data of a participatory research carried out with five organizations operating in the territory of the metropolitan city of Bologna, concerning the perception of subjective satisfaction of people with disabilities, the relational quality of the contexts and the co-evolutionary efficacy useful for the creation and improvement of inclusive projects. In the light of these data, the areas of productive industriousness, characterized by careful relational care, organized by social cooperatives for work inclusion, can prove capable of enhancing everyone’s contribution to a significant social role recognition, if, in collaboration with other actors (both public and private), they promote multiple production chains with use and/or exchange value.
