Starting from the analysis of some challenges arising from the national welfare system, the authors investigate an alternative model of public-private partnership to provide social housing. Is it possible to rethink housing policies in terms of social innovation and development to sustain young precarious workers in their life-cycle projects? The authors propose a model of partnership that would direct investments of companies and social entrepreneurships to both develop urban regeneration projects and offer benefits for temporary workers according to an innovative form of living: the social-cohousing.
