The reflection of Frank Snowden underlines the fact that pandemic diseases are not random and accidental. On the contrary, they are connected to the vulnerability of hu¬man beings and of the environment they constructed as well. The necessity of care, the dependency of the productive sphere from the reproductive sphere, the centrality of the bodies, are some of the topics analyzed in the essay. By proposing some declinations of the concept of res¬ponsibility (shared responsibility), in relation to the pandemic condition, the author re¬fers to the interpretation of individuals as relational and autonomous beings proposed by the Feminist Theory. In the final part, in relation to the institutions, two different scenarios of the post-pandemic phase are taken into consideration: that one of authoritarian and illiberal democracy on one hand, and that one of the sovereignty integration in managing the global challenges on the other one.
