In this contribution, the input to the knowledge and interpretation of Weberian sociological-legal thought contained in the recent volume by Costantino Cipolla Versus Max Weber is analyzed, an input that can consist of various warnings to follow for a correct understanding of the sociology of law of the German author, always exposed to the risk of partial readings due to its heightened complexity.
