The paper, arising from a qualitative research on three Italian contexts of small and medi-um-sized towns, offers a glance on implications and repercussions of the regulatory changes in the asylum system, taking into consideration the territorial dimension of the reception and the constraints/opportunities framework within which professionals employed in the reception of forced migrants play their role and develop a relationship support with beneficiaries.
