Hospital and chronicity

In the hospital context, the most suitable organizational forms to allow integration are those in hospitals that the establishment of Psychology Services or Units with coordination functions for the optimal use of psychological skills at different levels and for the activities necessary for an adequate implementation and updating of professionals, their integration in the various hospital operating structures and interprofessional collaboration. Health policy centered on the concept of a company as a place capable of managing pro-cesses effectively and efficiently requires adequate attention to those subjective factors that can affect costs and productivity. There is a tendency towards a Hospital Psychology that knows how to keep these differ-ent needs together, placing them in a horizon of specific, highly integrated analysis and inter-ventions, which makes the "systemic" strategy visible and builds synergies and alliances on this. The article reports on the experience of multi-professional collaboration in the area of dis-eases in the workplace context in the hospital context and raises the question of joint work and research settings as spaces where it becomes possible to build transdisciplinary work models.
