In this study we describe the Ruggiero-Klinghardt Protocol for diagnosis and treatment of chronic conditions with particular reference to Lyme disease associated with autism. This protocol is based on the application of the Autonomic Response Testing (ART) developed by Dr. Klinghardt and on a precise sequence of diagnostic ultrasonographies and application of therapeutic ultrasounds aimed at identifying pathogens, metabolites, transformed cells or elements of the immune system suggesting the presence of infections associated with with Lyme disease.
