The article describes the action of the Padua municipality to promote energy transition within the paths of sustainable development and Local Agenda 21 in the urban context. The author after a first presentation of the energy policy instruments recalls the actions implemented and those planned in 2020. The conclusions point out the limits and potential for the development of strategies for urban retrofit.
