The author writes this text upon having received the N’AITUN International Award, recently conferred to her in Chile. In the pages below, she explains the gestation process of the ECOART Project, which she directs and encourages in company with a group of scientists and artists. The project’s fundamental objective is to link science and art in the adventure of knowledge, in order to establish integrated, integrating views of the world. All such action is steered toward promoting increased ecological balance and good social equity. The principles of a new paradigm for interpreting reality, the contributions of a conscious, conscientious science, artistic languages, they are all part of this project, under which various transdisciplinary Seminars have been held, books have been published, poetry readings and painting exhibitions have been held and a Manifesto of scientists and artists for sustainable development has been drawn up. La autora escribe este texto con motivo de la recepción del Premio Internacional N´AITUN, que recientemente le ha sido concedido en Chile. En las páginas que siguen, explica el proceso de gestación del Proyecto ECOARTE que ella dirige y anima junto con un grupo de científicos y artistas. El objetivo fundamental de este proyecto es vincular ciencia y arte en la aventura del conocimiento, para establecer visiones integradas e integradoras del mundo. Todo ello orientado a promover un mayor equilibrio ecológico y una adecuada equidad social. Los principios de un nuevo paradigma interpretativo de la realidad, los aportes de una ciencia con consciencia y con conciencia, los lenguajes artísticos, son todos ellos parte de este proyecto, en el marco del cual se han realizado diversos Seminarios transdisciplinarios, se han editado libros, han tenido lugar exposiciones de poesía y pintura, y se ha elaborado un Manifiesto de científicos y artistas por el Desarrollo Sostenible.
