In Europe, community enterprises are becoming key-actors in urban development processes. These organizations may differ as for context and aims, but they all concur to develop and regenerate community assets. The paper focuses on the Italian case and provides a broad description of actors, goals and organizational resources regarded as new socioterritorial infrastructures addressing environmental and social issues in different local contexts
