This article shows how the concept of Justice has changed through the years, in an occidental context: in the beginning justice was releated to suffering and death of the guilty; over the last three centuries prisons were in charge of the supplices; now, with the recent DL 150/22 known as Riforma Cartabia, which disciplinates the matters of Restorative Justice, we meet another idea of Justice. A thin ‘new justice’ promoting the meeting between victim and the person individuated as the offender, this is a justice that looks at the people involved, and is a justice that wants to achieve good relationships within society.
