Among the causes of social traumatism, the authors describe “algorithmic colonization” that causes a condition of self-dispossession. The emergence of a society that pushes more and more for proactive and efficient “functioning” obscures in the individual the possibility of “existing” and paradoxically impedes his ability to project himself into the future. In this direction, “time” assumes crucial importance and conditions the individual’s life cycle. The intrapsychic condition is burdened by certain alienating aspects of contemporaneity.
Keywords: algorithmic colonisation, artificial intelligence, time, digital panoptic, utopia.
