This essay presents a case-study on A particular kind of perpetrators of vio-lence against women: sex offenders. Through a qualitative methodology – consist-ing of 40 interviews in 2 Italian prisons - we want to enhance the inequality of so-cial structure and gender stereotypes, but above all the neutralization models that these men use to blame the victims, until they get to the point of denying their crime. The research findings highlight a pattern of denial of any responsibility.
