The aim of this article is to highlight how the link between the accumulation by appropria-tion and the geographical changes determined by investments or disinvestments of capital, na-med processes of spatialization of capital, has been central in the movement of capitalism. This link has continuously redefined the space of Earth planet, transforming it in a homogeneous reality despite of its constitutive heterogeneity, disciplining its diversity and subordinating it to the logic of exchange value and abstract labour through the construction of global commodities chains and global unpaid activities chains.
