The processes of respatialisation and reterritorialization of migration have progressively involved rural areas, leading to significant dynamics of change that also involve residents, institutions and the local economy. The concept of nested market is applied to frame the reconfiguration of the forms of economic-productive organization in relation to these processes in contexts that present elements of fragility, in the Italian national context. New projects of entrepreneurship and socio-economic cooperation, enhancing local resources and involving refugees and migrant workers, are considered here. The nested markets, that are different for the specificity of the context, the subjects involved, the organizational models and the forms of governance, can contribute to territorial development paths.
