The Futur-e project promoted by enel gives the opportunity to describe some of the thermoelectric power stations in the Italian territory and to draw some preliminary conclusions about the constant features that characterize them, and on the most relevant differences among them. The descriptions focus on the principal characters of the plants, and show the different dimensions and locations of the various sites in Italy. A large number of photographs complete the article, presenting for each of the considered power stations both aerial views, showing the relation between the sites and their surroundings, and detailed views on their peculiarities.
