The authors disclose two experiences of group psychotherapy with pre-school children conducted within public institutions. Early in the article it is shown the working method within the group where the theme of the meaning of what occurs is constantly updating, based on many ways of representation, from the more concrete to the more abstract. Following, through clinical fragmentations, it is revealed the history and the group evo-lution of the irrepresentable, which assumes multiple ways of sharable representation after time and analytic work. The immersion in the past of the group allows the therapist to ap-proach transformative images facilitating the narration and the game. It is also shown how some concrete representations may become psychical containers of children emotions and allow the transition from the chaos to the game.
Keywords: Group psychotherapy, playing, narration, transformative images, pre-scholar children.
