Motherhood constitutes a traumatic-conflictual situation and if carried out in a migration condition it can generate the transmission of traumatic transgenerational elements and the development of psychopathologies. We will report some observations of migrant motherchild couples in Italy to highlight some of the protective factors the new context should have in order to facilitate a good motherhood experience.
