The body plays a prominent role both in bioenergetic analysis and in performative arts (such as performance of music, theatre or dance). This article explores their numerous points of contact, as well as pointing out the differing functions of the body in these two spheres. It highlights the corrective and compensatory function of bioenergetic exercises for artists. It is also meant as an invitation for further collaboration.
