The essay draws on a research project involving the operators of a Service of prevention and safety of workplaces. The concepts of risk and safety are contextualized within the ongoing changes in the world of work and the perspective of quality of work and in working life is used as an interpretative framework to understand how fragmentation of work is causing a spread of risks in the different working realities. In addition to the technical framework and the research methodology, it also drew attention to some of the most significant findings emerged, and particularly to the working conditions and operative model of prevention activities.
