Some reflections are proposed on the unhappy childhood of borderline patients. Patients keep alive their childhood through acting-out that reproduce its chaotic quality. During the treatment, the family of origin is a resource. The family has to find a way to comfort the members without necessarily having them to walk on the precipice.
