Allestire occasioni di incontro per i giovani in pena

Within what horizons of thought and in the busyness of what practices is it possi- ble to reformulate the work of justice? The emergencies and inertia of the present lead to hasty solutions and to safety measures that are, at most, only efficient and only reassuring. In the midst of the daily life of prisons, of stories in pain, however, it is still very, very diffi- cult to trace a sense of justice and, in particular, that sense of justice that our civilization has given us up to now. It is, then, necessary to recognizing that the encounter is the only, however fragile and elusive, moment in which it is possible to realize the ‘justice’ that al- lows one to take with him the possibilities of the other. In this sense, the writing that follows, tries to follow a path of rethinking justice, recognizing it first of all in all those practices of care (psychological, social, educational…) that are dedicated to setting up opportunities for encounters in which to make justice happen in institutions, in communities, and in relation- ships.
