This paper offers a synthesis of critical urban studies and decolonial perspec-tives, adopting the concepts of territorial stigmatization and destigmatization to deepen the study of urban inequality and exclusion in Western societies. This hy-bridization underscores the need to understand urban dynamics within broader so-cial and historical perspectives, offering insights for promoting inclusivity and re-ducing urban disparities.
