Il lavoro analizza la connessione tra disabilità, soddisfacimento sessuale e benessere psi-cosociale. L’analisi di diversi contributi scientifici evidenzia come le persone con disabilità, sia fisiche che cognitive, siano molto spesso relegate al ruolo di eterni bambini, la cui sessualità viene negata così come la possibilità di accedere ad una relazione sentimentale, spesso perché percepite come inappropriate non solo dai familiari ma anche dagli operatori della salute, favorendo la diffusione di pregiudizi e false attribuzioni. Il presente lavoro si presenta dunque come contributo per un auspicabile ampliamento delle pratiche di supporto nell’ambito della salute sessuale delle persone con disabilità; argomento, quest’ultimo, spesso frainteso e non abbastanza dibattuto dalle istituzioni.;
