After a rightful introduction, the author starts discussing a case to describe the different steps of the clinical treatment in case of marital infidelity. The therapeutic process presented takes into account different approaches, but at the same time it differs from them when treating the themes that emerge in therapy when handling this argument. The approach that arises can be considered integrated because it complements the model based on attachment with the systemic and psychoanalytic models. The treatment allows the couple also to reflect on existential themes that betrayal elicits.
