The article proposes to explore the heuristic potential of the concept of education-al landscape. Starting from an intertwined reading of these variables, and from some empirical evidence on the cities of Milan, Barcelona and Oslo, the article crit-ically reflects on how this concept can be useful in addressing the growing educa-tional inequalities and the phenomena of segregation of disadvantaged students.
