La bioetica: il limen fra ambiente e salute

In 1971, dottor Potter created, or better, formulated again, in a well-known article, the concept of bioetics: Science of the survival of the humankind in the ecosystem. The three decades that have passed from that famous article have contributed to amplify more and more the research in different fields: medical ethics, relationship between life/death/eutanasia, abortion, clonation, autopoietics potentialities, etc. All these themes have resulted, in the bioetic debate, in a reformulation of the concept, that is a study on human moral choices concerning the problems of the life (and the death) in respect of the technological development. The proposed reflections try to shed light into the complex biocentric model through an approach that gives value to life and does not make it simple and that analyses the complex relationship between the different lives in the ecological environment. Ecology, law, ethics, anthropology, ethology and sociology: these are the subjects linked together in order to examine the complex model.;
