Paolo Contini is associate professor of General Sociology at the IUL Telematic University, Florence (Italy). His scientific interests are positioned at the intersection of sociology, public ethics and contemporary social transformations. He investigated the changing of interpersonal and family relationships, the processes of integration and cultural pluralism, and active ageing and social cohesion. He has published several essays and various volumes in Italy and abroad.

Maria Sinatra was full professor of General Psychology at the Unversity of Bari (Italy), where she played various academic roles and responsabilities. She is currently director of the Institute of Design, Matera (Italy). Her main fields of interests are the historical and epistemological reconstruction of psychology, the psychological aspects of mass-media communication and new addiction. She has authored, edited, and co-edited numerous essays and volumes appeared in Italy and abroad.

Arjeta Veshi is associate professor of General Sociology at the Mediterranean University of Albania, Tirana (Albania). Her scientific research focuses mainly on studies on demo-socio-cultural and political developments of the Albanian and Italian population, and international emigration movements with a focus on Albanian emigration and its companies in Italy as well as Italian companies in our country. On these topics, she has published several essays in international journals and co-edited some volumes.
